  1. NM. I don't really like it, but Ohio's makes me angry.

TN. Again, I'm just voting against Maryland. I HATE MARYLAND'S FLAG SO MUCH

  3. New Mexico and Maryland. Ohio is too similar to other flags, and Tennessee is a little weird.

  4. NM
TN – I also hate MD's flag. It's really ugly.

    Here's to New Mexico. That 4th o'July bunting doesn't stand a chance.

    Maryland vs. Tennessee
I'm going to vote for my home state's flag here. Maryland my Maryland. I don't get how people can call the flag ugly- as I sit here at the computer, I can see it flapping in the breeze. Its a beautiful flag.

  6. New Mexico, sorry Ohio, but you're weird shape won't help you this time.

  8. New Mexico, natch.

Maryland, with apologies to the "ow my eyes, it burns us!" contingent.

Everything is going to come down to NM vs. MD, isn't it? Elegant simplicity vs. absurd madness?

  9. OH - very American in appearance and, as I've said before, weird shapes FTW

MD - I love the vexillologic history behind it.

(And, yes, I realize fully the double-standard in play here, TN is clearly the most "American looking" in the E/S matchup, yet I didn't vote for it (but I did vote for the "American looking" flag in the W/N matchup. Also, NM's flag definitely wins in the history department in the W/N competition, yet I didn't vote for it, but I voted for MD in E/S specifically because of its history.)

  10. Ohio. . I like the patriotic odd shape. NM too much yellow, too little sun icon

Maryland. Fussy but cool. Tenn too small circle thingy, too fussy fly stripe.
