Apparently whatever pot-head who designed the packaging was high on weed when he did so; he was so stoned he couldn't even spell Marijuana correctly. Then again, there are so many 'street names' for the stuff he probably never actually knew the word correctly in the first place. Besides that, just the idea of a Canadian pot flag is incredibly corny. Good Lord.
ReplyDelete$9.99 seems like a hefty price for a weak gag, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteBut it's Canadian dollars...
ReplyDeleteBut Canadian dollars are now at parity (almost) with USD. When I went to Canada last year, the exchange rate was almost identical and everything cost a lot more. Gas was the worst at over $6.00 a gallon.
ReplyDeleteI stand corrected. Thanks for the update, Colonel.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very old joke, too. I can't remember when I first saw it. But surely your flag has a stoner version with pot leaves instead of stars in the top left?
ReplyDeleteFood is much cheaper in the US, but that's probably because you have a much longer growing season and laxer regulations on what you can do to livestock. And gas here is now close to $1.30 a litre.
ReplyDeleteWe do pride ourselves on our growing season.
