I've been meaning to say (I don't think I've gotten around to writing up a comment yet) that all of the classes in my son's grade recently voted on which country they wanted to "be" for their school's Olympic Day. I know in The Boy's class, the three finalists were Canada (the good ol' maple leaf), Italy (I suspect as the home of pizza more than because of the flag), and Wales (probably The. Best. Flag. ever).
ReplyDeleteI will try to remember to mention Estonia to him next year as having a handsome flag and being a Most Favored Nation, but I'm not sure how far it will go.
