  1. What sort of point would someone be making by cutting an Arizona flag in to the shape of Arkansas?

  2. The point that they don't know the difference between Arizona and Arkansas, I believe. It looked like an error, not a statement.

  3. This looks like a job for www.failblog.com. (Any bets as to how many failbloggers notice?)

  4. Maybe it's a statement of manifest destiny.

Generally if you superimpose the symbol of one jurisdiction on the map of another it's either a statement of aggression or mocking the target as having already succumbed to its influence.

So maybe someone is saying that ... Arkansas has policies like Arizona's?

  5. Having lived in both states, it's the AZ/AR abbreviation that people mess up. I've seen an Arizona Wal-Mart carrying Arkansas shirts/college gear as they messed up and ordered AZ as opposed to AR. My Wal-Mart manager friend in Arkansas says she's seen some Arizona State University Sun Devils gear for sale in her store. It also happens with Alaska too (AR, AZ, and AK).
